New NHBA Lawyers Enjoy an ‘Evening at the Ballpark’
Nearly 30 NH Bar members, guests, and NHBA staff spent a relaxing
summer’s night getting to know each other, enjoying a delicious barbecue buffet, and watching the New Hampshire Fisher Cats beat the Binghamton Mets, 5-2, during this year’s New Lawyers Committee 3rd Annual Evening at the Ballpark at Fisher Cats Stadium in Manchester.
From left to right, mentor Robert Howard waits for his chance to dig into the buffet along with Eric Bennett and Ann Thompson, and Lisa Perrine and her mother, Gloria. Thompson and Perrine are new lawyers.
The New Lawyers Committee attempts to bridge the gap between newcomers and veterans in the NH Bar Association. Events such as the Aug. 18 ballgame outing are some of the ways the committee tries to foster a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for lawyers to network with other NHBA colleagues.
Attending the outing were Richard B. McNamara, NH Bar Association president, and his wife, Linda; Robert R. Howard, of Robert Howard Law Offices in Henniker, a mentor; Jaye Rancourt, NLC chair; and Rose Anocibar, NHBA member services coordinator; and new lawyers Amy Manzelli; Phillip Rakhunov; Maria Proulx; Justin Boothby; Sarah Mattson; Sabrina Beavens and friend, Julie; Samantha Jewett and friend Brian Connolley; Patrick O’Day; Ann Thompson and friend Eric Bennett; Tanya Pardo and friend April; David Allen; Gregory Boucher; Lisa Perrine and parents George and Gloria; and Joceline Champagne, NHBA Low Income Taxpayer Clinic coordinator, and her fiancé Ted Petro.
