Dwight T. Dobbin
Dwight T. Dobbin, 86, of Alton, NH died Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Lakes Region General Hospital.
Dobbin was employed for many years by the Washington, D.C. law firm Wilkinson, Cragun & Barker. He was also an employee of the New Hampshire Office of Legislative Services in Concord, NH.
He graduated from high school and business school in Peoria, Illinois. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy as an apprentice seaman and was honorably discharged as a Chief Yeoman after nine years of service. He served six years in the Asiatic Pacific Fleet and two years on the staff of Vice Admiral C.A. Lockwood.
He was a member and past master of Winnipesaukee Lodge N. 75, E&A.M., Alton, and a member of the Temple Chapter No. 20, Royal Arch Masons in Rochester, NH.
Survivors include several cousins and a brother-in-law, Fred Emerson, of Nashua.
