Patricia A. Morris, NH Horse Council
Patricia A. Morris, a sole-practitioner in Center Barnstead, was recently elected to the board of directors and as secretary of the New Hampshire Horse Council, a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the interests of New Hampshire’s equine community. Morris, an animal enthusiast who engages in the practice of animal law, has been a member of the NH Bar since 2006.

R. James Steiner, Silver Beaver Award
Jim Steiner, of D’Amante Couser Steiner Pellerin in Concord, was recently the recipient of the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver award, the highest state-level scouting award for volunteers. The award recognizes "those who implement the scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication and many years of service." Steiner has been a NH Bar member since 1987.

William F. Ardinger, University System of NH
William Ardinger, of Rath, Young & Pignatelli in Concord, was recently nominated by Gov. John Lynch to serve as a trustee on the board of trustees for the University System of New Hampshire. Ardinger has been a member of the NH Bar since 1985.

Kathleen A. Sternenberg, NH Board of Mental Health Practice
Kathleen A. Sternenberg, of the Law Offices of Kathleen Sternenberg in Manchester, was recently confirmed to the NH Board of Mental Health Practice after being nominated by Gov. John Lynch. Sternenberg has been a member of the NH Bar since 1991.

Eric Falkenham, NH Transportation Appeals Board
Eric G. Falkenham, of Divine Millimet & Branch in Manchester was recently confirmed to serve on the NH Transportation Appeals Board after being nominated by Gov. John Lynch. He has been a Bar member since 1985.

David S. Brown, One Sky Community Services David S. Brown, of Colliander, Field & Brown in Portsmouth, was recently elected president of the board of directors for One Sky Community Services, Inc. of Portsmouth, which serves individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders in 24 cities and towns in upper-Rockingham County. Brown has been a member of the NH Bar since 1979.

Sari Ann Strasburg, Women’s Business Center
Sari Ann Strasburg, of Strasburg Law in Bedford, was recently re-elected chair of the board of directors of the Women’s Business Center, a statewide non-profit organization that foster’s entrepreneurship. She has been a member of the NH Bar since 1985.

Hamilton R. Krans, Jr., NH Compensation Appeals Board
Hamilton R. Krans, Jr. of the Krans Law Office in Dover, was recently confirmed to serve on the NH Compensation Appeals Board after being nominated by Gov. John Lynch. Krans has been a NH Bar member since 1969.
