NH District Court and Family Division

In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 56 and RSA 490:32, the New Hampshire Judicial Branch Family Division and District Court Administrative Judge routinely conducts judicial evaluations and invites you to participate in this process. The following Judges/Marital Masters are presently being evaluated:

Thomas Rappa, Jr.,

Stephen Samaha, Justice
Michael Garner, Marital Master
Special Plymouth District Court and
Plymouth Family Division
Plymouth District Court
Laconia Family Division

An evaluation may be completed online at www.courts.state.nh.us. Once you are on the Judicial Branch website, look to the left side of the page under Court Administration, you will see a link for Judicial Performance Evaluations. Once you choose this link it will bring you to a page that lists the Judges and/or Marital Masters that are currently being evaluated. Click on the link of the Judge and/or Marital Master that you would like to evaluate and it will bring you directly to their survey. While responses will be shared with the Judges/Marital Masters being evaluated, they are treated as confidential, and the identity of the respondent will remain anonymous.

If you do not have access to the Internet or would prefer a hard copy of the evaluation be mailed to you, please e-mail Judge Kelly’s Administrative Office at Lcammett@courts.state.nh.us or call 271-6418 and one will be mailed to you. Please include your name and address, as these questionnaires cannot be e-mailed. As stated above, the evaluations are treated as confidential, and the identity of the respondent will remain anonymous. In fact, if you request a hard copy of the evaluation form, we ask that you do not sign the completed evaluation.

All evaluations must be completed online or be returned no later than May 8, 2009.

In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 56 and RSA 490:32, the Judicial Branch Superior Court Chief Justice Robert J. Lynn will be conducting performance evaluations of the following judges during calendar year 2009:
Superior Court:

Gillian L. Abramson, Associate Justice              Hillsborough Superior Court Northern District
James D. O’Neill, III Associate Justice               Hillsborough Superior Court Northern District
Steven M. Houran, Associate Justice                 Carroll County Superior Court
Tina L. Nadeau, Associate Justice                     Rockingham County Superior Court
An evaluation questionnaire may be obtained directly from the Superior Court Administrative Office at the following: Superior Court email lbeliveau@courts.state.nh.us or telephone 271-2030. The evaluation includes instructions and where to return the completed survey.
