Robert A. Stein, ISBF

           

Robert A. Stein, of Robert Stein & Associates in Concord, was recently elected president of the International Society of Barristers Foundation, an organization that provides grants to organizations that advance advocacy skills.

 

Nancy Ball, Girls, Inc.

           

Nancy Ball, a shareholder at Shaheen & Gordon in Concord, was recently appointed to the board of directors for Girls, Inc., which offers research-based enrichment and prevention programs in schools and during out-of-school hours at four regional centers in New Hampshire.

 

James Laboe, GCCFS

           

James Laboe, a trial attorney with Orr & Reno in Concord, was recently elected to the board of directors for Greater Concord Child and Family Services, a children’s charitable organization in New Hampshire which provides an array of social services to strengthen family life.

 

James A. Normand, EBEC

           

Attorney James A. Normand, of Normand & Associates in Manchester, was recently appointed by Gov. John Lynch to the NH Executive Branch Ethics Committee, which is charged with the issuance of guidelines, rulings and advisory opinions relative to the standards for ethical conduct in the state’s executive branch.

 

Daniel St. Hilaire, Board of Licensing

           

Daniel St. Hilaire, an attorney at the St. Hilaire Law Office, was recently appointed to the Board of Licensing for Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals. St. Hilaire joined the Bar in 1997.

 

Brian Thomas, BLRP

           

Brian Thomas, an attorney at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently named to the NH State Board of Licensing and Regulation of Plumbers. Thomas was nominated by Gov. John Lynch and will serve as a citizen member for a five-year term.
