Sheridan T. Brown, a Bar member since 2008, was recently elected to the board of the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and habitat throughout the state.
Richard Uchida, Colby College
Richard Uchida, of Orr & Reno in Concord, was recently elected vice chair of the Board of Trustees of Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He is currently chair of the school’s Educational Policy Committee, and will soon join the Executive Budget and Finance Committees.

Christopher Cole, a shareholder at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently elected to the Leadership New Hampshire Board of Trustees for a three-year term. The program is designed to increase civic engagement and strengthen communities through connecting and educating a diverse pool of emerging leaders.

Katherine Brown, an attorney with Hoefle Phoenix Gormley & Roberts in Portsmouth, was recently appointed by the US Commission on Civil Rights to the NH Civil Rights Panel, a bipartisan federal agency that conducts research and advises the President and Congress on civil rights issues.

Ovid Lamontagne, an attorney at Devine Millimet in Manchester, was recently presented with the Citizen of the Year Award by the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts of America, which recognizes an individual, business or organization for contributing to the quality of life in New Hampshire.

Leslie Leonard, New Generation
Leslie Leonard, an attorney with Boynton Waldron Doleac in Portsmouth, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for New Generation, a homeless shelter for pregnant and parenting women of infants. Leonard has been a NH Bar member since 2006.
