NH Supreme Court Orders

ADM-2009-0073
In the Matter of George P. Apostolicas

Having been suspended from the New Hampshire Bar Association for nonpayment of his 2008/2009 bar dues and not having been reinstated within six months of his suspension, George P. Apostolicas is hereby suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire in accordance with the provisions of Supreme Court Rule 42A.

Attorney Apostolicas is ordered to notify all of his clients in writing that he has been suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire and to notify the court by Monday, August 31, 2009, that he has completed this task. On or before Thursday, September 10, 2009, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Apostolicas’ files and to take action to protect the interests of his clients.

In the Matter of Mary Ann Becker

Having been suspended from the New Hampshire Bar Association for nonpayment of her 2008/2009 bar dues and not having been reinstated within six months of her suspension, Mary Ann Becker is hereby suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire in accordance with the provisions of Supreme Court Rule 42A.

Attorney Becker is ordered to notify all of her clients in writing that she has been suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire and to notify the court by Monday, August 31, 2009, that she has completed this task. On or before Thursday, September 10, 2009, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Becker’s files and to take action to protect the interests of her clients.

On or before Thursday, September 10, 2009, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Gallagher’s files and to take action to protect the interests of her clients.

In the Matter of Allyn C. Bridge

Having been suspended from the New Hampshire Bar Association for nonpayment of his 2008/2009 bar dues and not having been reinstated within six months of his suspension, Allyn C. Bridge is hereby suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire in accordance with the provisions of Supreme Court Rule 42A.

This suspension is in addition to the suspensions imposed on February 19, 2009, in ADM-2008-0179, In the Matter of Allyn C. Bridge, for failure to file the 2008 annual trust accounting certificate of compliance and pay late fees assessed; and on June 2, 2009, in ADM-2009-0040, In the Matter of Allyn C. Bridge, for failure to comply with the minimum legal education requirements for the reporting year ending June 30, 2008 and pay late fees assessed.

Having been suspended from the New Hampshire Bar Association for nonpayment of her 2008/2009 bar dues and not having been reinstated within six months of her suspension, Laura O’Connor Shepard is hereby suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire in accordance with the provisions of Supreme Court Rule 42A.

This suspension is in addition to the suspension imposed on March 17, 2009, in ADM-2009-0016, In the Matter of Laura O’Connor Shepard, for failure to file the 2008 annual trust accounting certificate of compliance and pay late fees assessed.

Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 51 B(1)(a), the Supreme Court of New Hampshire hereby appoints, effective immediately, Associate Justice Carol Ann Conboy as a member and chair of the Advisory Committee on Rules in place of Associate Justice Linda S. Dalianis.

Supreme Court of New Hampshire


Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 38-A, the Supreme Court appoints Judge David D. King to the Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, to serve a three-year term commencing on September 1, 2009 and expiring on September 1, 2012. Judge King is appointed to replace Judge James R. Patten, whose term expires on September 1, 2009, and who is not eligible for reappointment.

In addition, the Supreme Court appoints Marital Master Philip D. Cross to the Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, to serve a three-year term commencing on September 1, 2009 and expiring on September 1, 2012.

Master Cross is appointed to replace Attorney Frederic K. Upton, whose term expires on September 1, 2009, and who is not eligible for reappointment.

Supreme Court of New Hampshire


In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 37(3)(d), the court appoints Jennifer L. Parent, Vice President of the New Hampshire Bar Association, to serve as the Board of Governors’ Representative on the Committee on Professional Conduct, for a term commencing August 1, 2009, and expiring on August 1, 2010.
