In Memoriam: Eric R. Gardner
Eric R. Gardner, a Keene attorney, died recently at his home. He was 63.

Gardner graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1969 and later received his law degree from Boston University, where he was editor of the Boston University Law Review.
A board-certified trial specialist, Gardner gained recognition for his skills as an advocate of the National College of Advocacy for the American Association of Justice, a group for which he served as a national officer. His last position was as a solo attorney in Keene, where he handled plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
Gardner was a fellow of the NH Bar Foundation, a past member of the NH Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, and served on a variety of committees of the NH Bar Association and the NH Association for Justice. He was a frequent panelist for continuing legal education.
Gardner was an officer and director of the Monadnock United Way, the Keene Family YMCA, and the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; two sons, Matthew and Thomas; stepson, Curtis; stepdaughter, Jill; and four grandchildren.
