Chief Justice Broderick Retirement - Open House
The Associate Justices of the New Hampshire Supreme Court invite you to join us in thanking our colleague, Chief Justice John T. Broderick, Jr., upon his departure after 15 years of dedicated service to the Judicial Branch. The event will take place Friday, November 5, at 3:00 p.m., in the NH Supreme Court. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a special performance by Daniel Heifetz, founder and director of the Heifetz International Music Institute. Merrimack Family Division to Open in December
The Merrimack Family Division is scheduled to open on December 10. It will be co-located with the Merrimack District Court in the new courthouse on Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack. This family division will have the subject matter jurisdiction outlined in RSA 490-D for the towns of Bedford, Litchfield, and Merrimack.
In addition, all of the remaining caseload in the Hillsborough Superior Court - South marital department will be transferred and heard at the Merrimack Family Division.

New Hours for Three Superior Courts
Three superior courts in the state have already, or will shortly, shorten operating hours for the clerk’s office. See below for the list and visit the Judicial Branch website for a full listing of court schedules.
Cheshire Superior Court
The clerk’s office will close at 1:00 p.m. every Wednesday until further notice.
Hillsborough North and Hillsborough South Superior Courts
The clerk’s office will close at 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday until further notice.
Merrimack County Superior Court
Office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday –Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, until further notice.
