Hon. Lt. Col. John Coughlin
Army Combat Action Badge
Hon. Lt. Col John Coughlin of Amherst, was presented with the Army Combat Action Badge during Nashua’s Memorial Day Parade. The badge is awarded to a soldier performing assigned duties in an area where hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay is authorized, who is personally present and actively engages or is engaged by the enemy, and performs satisfactorily in accordance with the rules of engagement. Coughlin was awarded the Army Combat Action Badge for action while serving in Iraq.
Barry J. Glennon
NH Bureau of Securities Regulation
Barry J. Glennon of Manchester has been named Director of Securities Regulation by Secretary of State William Gardner. He will be replacing Joseph C. Long, who had stepped in as interim director.
Charles Willing, Jr.
James S. Doremus Award
Charles Willing, Jr. of Rath, Young & Pignatelli in Concord received the fifth annual James S. Doremus Award by the Friends Program. The Doremus Award is named after long-time Friends Program Executive Director, Jim Doremus. The recipient is defined as someone that has provided volunteer service to the Friends Program organization over an extended period of time or has provided a valuable contribution to the Friends Program and/or those served by the organization.

Granite State Legacy Award
Val Jack Middleton of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton has been awarded one of the Granite State Legacy Awards presented by the NH Union Leader and sponsored by the Centrix Bank. This award honors individuals who have given back to the state.
Lebanon College Criminal Law Faculty Announced

Mark Pierce
Lebanon College has announced the addition of several new criminal justice faculty members. Richard Hubbard of Bedford will be the director of the criminal justice program. Also joining the faculty is Mark Pierce, assistant prosecutor for Lebanon Police Department and Melissa Pierce, deputy county attorney in the Grafton County Attorney’s Office.
