The New Hampshire Womenís Bar Association (NHWBA) celebrated its 15th anniversary May 9 at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester.

The event featured open art galleries, a cocktail reception in the museumís garden, and networking with judges, lawyers, and other special guests from around the state.

Pamela Berman, president of the National Conference of Womenís Bar Associations, was the keynote speaker. Berman is a commercial litigator and shareholder of Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C. in Boston, Mass.

Jennifer Parent, past president of the NH Bar Association, was an honored guest and speaker at the NHWBA event. A founding member and past president of the NHWBA, Parent, a litigator and director at the McLane firm, spoke about the creation and history of the organization.

Womenís Bar Association Thanks Food Drive Donors

The New Hampshire Womenís Bar Association (NHWBA) recently held its annual food drive to help stock the New Hampshire Food Bank for the summer months.

The NHWBA wishes to thank all of the attorneys and their staffs from around the state, who donated food and money, making the fifth consecutive food drive a success. As a result of these generous donors, 743 pounds of food and more than $1,500 was donated to the New Hampshire Food Bank. The donation will help meet the increased need for food during the summer months, when families are not able to rely on school lunch programs to provide meals to children.

For more information about the NHWBA and its upcoming events, please visit, or contact NHWBA Executive Director Gretchen Pyles.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
