Paul C. Remus
Paul C. Remus of Devine Millimet has been elected to the Board of Trustees and Hon. David H. Souter has been elected Vice President of the NH Historical Society.

Founded in 1823, the New Hampshire Historical Society is the independent nonprofit that saves, preserves, and shares New Hampshire history. The Society serves thousands of children and adults each year through its museum, library, educational programs, publications, and outreach programs.

Business and Industry Association (BIA)
Karen S. Aframe of Bernstein Shur in Manchester was honored with the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire’s Above and Beyond Award. The Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire serves as the statewide chamber of commerce. The Above and Beyond Award was created to honor individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to BIA’s mission and goals.

NH Legal Assistance
Enrique Mesa Jr., attorney at the Manchester immigration firm of LawServe, has been named to the board of directors of New Hampshire Legal Assistance, the statewide, non-profit law firm offering legal aid in civil matters to seniors and eligible low-income persons.
Maureen D. Smith
Business and Industry Association
Maureen D. Smith of Orr & Reno recently received the Above and Beyond Award from the Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire’s statewide Chamber of Commerce. The award is given in recognition of the recipient’s contributions to both the organization and the greater New Hampshire business community.
Sabrina Beavens
ABA Section of Litigation Award
Sabrina Beavens of Iurillo & Associates, PA received the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s Outstanding Subcommittee Chair Award for the 2012 -2013 bar year. Beavens serves as a co-editor of the Woman Advocate Committee’s website. In addition, she is a leadership fellow for the section.
