Bringing Civics in Action to Public Schools

This year, the Bar Association’s Law Related Education Program is launching the pilot version of “Civics In Action Goes Viral,” with volunteer lawyers going into middle and high school classrooms for interactive presentations on the role of government in everyday life. A video contest for students will be the follow-up.

A short video featuring retired Judge Joseph Nadeau’s experiences in overseas rule-of-law programs will provide a warm-up to the in-person presentations. This effort builds on the successful Civics in Action program for adults presented by Bar members to Rotary and Kiwanis clubs in New Hampshire over the last two years. Find out how to participate in this program in upcoming months.
