The New Hampshire Judicial Branch recently announced that attorney Abigail Albee has been appointed clerk of the New Hampshire Superior Court and will oversee operations at its locations in Belknap and Carroll counties.
Effective on Monday, Dec. 2, Albee will replace Patricia Lenz, who is currently a Superior Court administrator, based at the administrative office of the courts in Concord.
Albee graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1998 with a bachelorís degree and from Suffolk University Law School, where she earned her JD, in 2001. Most recently, Albee served as director of legal services for the New Hampshire Public Defender in Concord. She has worked at the NH Public Defender since her graduation from law school, holding the positions of staff attorney, managing attorney, and then director of legal services.
Albee will split her time as clerk between the county courthouses in Ossipee and Laconia.
