Milford High School students Maggie Bell, Andrew Fuhs, and Poradon Leelaburtra were part of the top-scoring team at the State Finals for We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution in Concord on Jan. 10. The Milford and Merrimack teams will travel to Washington, DC, this spring for the national competition.
Jim Starr, who recently retired as clerk of the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire after a distinguished career spanning more than three decades working in state and federal court administration, sits with his wife, attorney Cathy Green, during Starr’s retirement party in Concord on Jan. 9. More than a dozen speakers talked about Starr’s career and influence, including retired US Supreme Court Justice David Souter.
Gov. Maggie Hassan stands with staff of the NHBA Pro Bono Referral Program following a press event Jan. 21, during which Hassan touted the collaborative Foreclosure Relief Project and HomeHelpNH as prime examples of government working with nonprofits and private business to help citizens of New Hampshire.
