Robert Stein, of the Stein Law Firm, has been named state chair of the International Society of Barristers (ISOB), a nonprofit organization formed to honor the great advocates in the legal profession.

Sean Flanagan of Devine Millimet has been named to the Manchester Historic Association Board of Trustees.

Orr & Reno was nominated for the 30th annual Business in the Arts Awards, sponsored by the NH Business Committee for the Arts. Awards in 21 categories were presented Monday, May 12, at the Center of NH – Radisson Hotel in Manchester.

Daniel Will, of Devine Millimet, has been appointed by Gov. Maggie Hassan to serve on the New Hampshire Judicial Council. The appointment also was approved by the New Hampshire Executive Council.

John Greabe, a constitutional law scholar at the UNH School of Law, will be leading The Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership and Public Policy. He replaces Professor Erin Corcoran, who will be returning to full-time teaching and research.

Amy Kanyuk, of McDonald & Kanyuk, in Concord, has been elected as the New Hampshire state chair of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). ACTEC is a professional association of about 2,600 lawyers from throughout the United States who are skilled and experienced in estate planning and estate and trust administration.

Jay Surdukowski of Sulloway & Hollis has been named chair of the board for the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program.

Peter Burger of Orr & Reno has joined the New Hampshire Public Radio Board of Directors.
