She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Associationís Family Law Section and the NH Bar Associationís Pro Bono Governing Board. She was appointed by the NH Supreme Court to the Access to Justice Commission and is the Hillsborough County-South governor on the NH Bar Association Board of Governors. In 2010, she was presented with the NHBA Pro Bono Referral Programís L. Jonathan Ross Award for Outstanding Commitment to Legal Services for the Poor.
The award presentation at the Nashua Country Club coincided with the Nashua Bar Association Annual Meeting, which drew dozens of members from a variety of practice areas for a dinner meeting on Wednesday, June 11.
Shanelaris was introduced by attorney Elizabeth Perry and received praise from her longtime partner, Jane Schirch, and other colleagues in attendance.
