Several volunteer NH attorneys gave school presentations on civics, law and government last month as part of an observance of Constitution Day on Sept. 17 and the NH Bar Associationís Civics in Action program.
Wescott Law attorney Allison Ambrose and law clerk Kathrine Lacey visited students at Winnisquam Regional High School and Franklin High School. NHBA President Lisa Wellman-Ally visited Grantham Village School last month for a presentation to a group of younger students there. And attorney James Shaughnessy gave a presentation to students at Londonderry High School.
More presentations are planned for October and November.
Civics in Action began in 2011 as an effort to quiz adult social and civic clubs using the same questions that immigrants must take to become naturalized citizens of the United States.
