In the News: Four Attorneys in ‘40 Under 40’

Steven Dutton

Fred Coolbroth Jr.

Dan McKenna

Josh Lanzetta

Four New Hampshire attorneys were among the 2015 class of the NH Union Leader’s “40 Under 40,” a distinction that recognizes young professionals who are making a difference in the state.

Fred Coolbroth Jr., 37, is a tax attorney at the Rath, Young & Pignatelli firm in Concord, and is an active volunteer in the community, including serving as vice chair of the New Hampshire chapter of the American Red Cross. He is the son of Fred Coolbroth, a Manchester attorney and former chair of the NH Board of Bar Examiners.

Steven Dutton, 37, an associate at the McLane law firm, grew up in New Hampshire, moved away, and returned here after law school. A father of two, Dutton has served on the Goffstown School Board and chairs the Allard Center Board of the YMCA. At the McLane firm, he also was the 2013 recipient of its internal award recognizing outstanding pro bono service.

Josh Lanzetta, 36, of Dover, became a lawyer after devoting his energies to professional ski racing. A champion in the demanding discipline of telemark skiing, Lanzetta is working toward starting his own law practice on the Seacoast and promoting the attractiveness of New Hampshire as a place for young professionals to build careers and raise families.

Dan McKenna, 30, has a lot going on. A trial attorney for the law firm of Manning and Zimmerman in Manchester, he sits on the Derry Cooperative School District Board and is married with two children. He also has his eye on state politics. Having served two terms as a state representative, he is currently legal counsel to the NH Democratic Party.
