Foreclosure Relief Project Update

The Foreclosure Relief Project is a state-wide initiative that helps homeowners of all income levels who are struggling with foreclosure and other mortgage-related problems.

The Project holds Home Retention Clinics throughout the state where homeowners meet one-on-one with a volunteer attorney to review their situations and discuss their options. Issues addressed include impending foreclosure, difficulty with the loan modification process and problems with a loan servicer.

Since 2013, 152 households have received legal help at FRP clinics organized by staff of the NH Bar Association Pro Bono Referral Program. The next clinic will be held from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, at the Rochester Public Library in Rochester. Any homeowners who may benefit from attending can register by contacting FRP Coordinator Vanessa Beauchesne at (603) 715-3255 or FRP@nhbar.org.

For a complete list of upcoming clinics, visit www.nhfrp.net.

The following attorneys volunteered for FRP clinics in 2014, and their efforts are greatly appreciated. An asterisk next to a name indicates the attorney volunteered for more than one clinic in 2014.
