Supreme Court Orders

In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 37(5)(a), the court appoints Ann B. Turbyne to the Complaint Screening Committee to serve the remainder of a three-year term, which began on January 1, 2015, and expires on December 31, 2017. Ms. Turbyne is appointed to replace Guy D. Chapdelaine, who resigned due to other commitments.

In the Matter of Von E. Sanborn, Esquire

On January 22, 2015, Attorney Sanborn was suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire for failing to file his 2014 Trust Accounting Certificate. On February 17, 2015, Attorney Sanborn filed his 2014 Trust Accounting Certificate. He has requested that he be reinstated to the practice of law in New Hampshire.

Attorney Sanborn’s request for reinstatement is granted. Attorney Sanborn is reinstated to the practice of law in New Hampshire effective immediately.

In the Matter of Daniel S. Bleck, Esquire

On February 4, 2015, Attorney Bleck was suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire for failing to file his 2014 Trust Accounting Certificate and pay the $300 fine assessed for late filing of the certificate. On February 17, 2015, Attorney Bleck filed his 2014 Trust Accounting Certificate and paid the $300 fine. He has requested that he be reinstated to the practice of law in New Hampshire.

Attorney Bleck’s request for reinstatement is granted. Attorney Bleck is reinstated to the practice of law in New Hampshire effective immediately.

In the Matter of Lynne A. Saben, Esquire

On January 12, 2015, this court issued an order, in accordance with Rule 50-A(2), for Attorney Lynne A. Saben to file her 2014 annual trust accounting certificate and pay the fines assessed for late filing of the certificate by January 27, 2015, or be suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire.

Attorney Saben has neither responded to the order, nor brought herself into compliance with Supreme Court Rule 50-A. Attorney Saben is hereby suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire. The court hereby requires that Attorney Saben’s trust accounts and other financial records be audited at her expense.

Attorney Saben is ordered to notify her clients in writing that she has been suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire and to notify the Attorney Discipline Office by Friday, May 1, 2015, that she has completed this task. On or before Monday, May 11, 2015, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Saben’s files and to take action to protect the interests of her clients.

The court hereby requires that Attorney Sarno’s trust accounts and other financial records be audited at her expense.

Attorney Sarno is ordered to notify her clients in writing that she has been suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire and to notify the Attorney Discipline Office by Friday, May 1, 2015, that she has completed this task. On or before Monday, May 11, 2015, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Sarno’s files and to take action to protect the interests of her clients.

Attorney Simpson is ordered to notify her clients in writing that she has been suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire and to notify the Attorney Discipline Office by Friday, May 1, 2015, that she has completed this task. On or before Monday, May 11, 2015, the Attorney Discipline Office shall advise the court if it believes that an attorney should be appointed to make an inventory of Attorney Simpson’s files and to take action to protect the interests of her clients.

In the Matter of Jason T. Throne, Esquire

The court on April 3, 2015, issued the following order:

On March 20, 2015, the Professional Conduct Committee submitted a request from Attorney Jason T. Throne to resign in accordance with Rule 37(11), along with the committee’s recommendation that the resignation be accepted. The committee’s request was accompanied by an affidavit of Attorney Throne, which satisfies the requirements of the rule.

The court has reviewed the affidavit of Attorney Throne and the recommendation of the Professional Conduct Committee. In accordance with Rule 37(11), Attorney Throne’s resignation from the bar is accepted.

Attorney Throne has waived his right to confidentiality of his affidavit. Accordingly, Attorney Throne’s affidavit, which had been placed in a confidential file in accordance with the rule, shall be available for public inspection.
