Maine Law to Honor NH Family at Alumni Event
A $60,000 gift, made in honor of a judge from Nashua, will allow the University of Maine School of Law to provide more scholarship support to students from New Hampshire for years to come.
Katherine Clancy O’Neill, daughter of the Hon. Frank Clancy, included the bequest as part of her will. O’Neill died last year at the age of 91. Her father, a 1910 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, was a prominent resident of Nashua in the first half of the 20th century. He served as the city’s municipal judge for more than 30 years.
The event is scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at Fratello’s in Manchester. For more information, contact Tina Samuels, (207) 780-4342.
