In Memoriam: L. Hamlin Greene
L. Hamlin Greene, of Glenwood, NH, passed away in his sleep Feb. 11, 2015.
A native of Presque Isle, Maine, Greene was educated at Kennett High School, University of Michigan, University of Vermont and Boston University Law School.
After law school, Greene entered his law practice in North Conway and raised his family in the Mount Washington Valley region. He was a district court judge, attorney, entrepreneur, real estate developer, landlord, philanthropist, mentor and friend to many in the valley.
He leaves behind his son, William, of Center Conway; grandson, Forest, of Fryeburg, Maine; nephews, Arthur of Bedford and Richard of Meredith. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, daughter and brother.
In memory of our colleague, the NHBA Board of Governors has contributed to the NH Bar Foundation.
