October is Pro Bono Month in New Hampshire

For the past several years, the governor of New Hampshire has proclaimed October to be Pro Bono Month in New Hampshire, extending the national Pro Bono Week to accommodate and raise awareness of the events and activities performed by NH Bar Association Pro Bono Referral Program staff and volunteers each fall.

WHAT IS DIVORCE CAMP?

Divorce Camp is a unique learning opportunity featuring a mix of lecture, discussion and simulations led by experienced faculty that prepares and supports up to 25 attorneys in handling Pro Bono divorce or parenting cases. This training program requires all attendees to take a family law case through the Pro Bono Program. Mentors will be available and professional liability insurance is provided. Registration Form.

FACULTY: Cathy Shanelaris, Pamela Peterson, James Ferro, Charles Greenhalgh and Marital Master Michael Garner.

COST: $80 for the series, which helps cover the cost of materials and three light meals. Attendance at all three sessions required. Refunds only for cancellations two business days in advance of the first session.

NHMCLE credits: 520 minutes (of which 75 are Ethics/Professionalism) of live credit entered directly into the Supreme Courtís NHMCLE Attorney Reporting Tool.
