NH Bar Midyear Meeting 2016

Join your NH Bar colleagues for an interactive day exploring the changing paradigm for law practice and professionalism in the 21st Century.

Hear ideas about the future of the legal profession from thought leaders and engage in the dialogue about how the profession is, can, or should be changing to serve clients, the public, and the justice system. What can we do in New Hampshire to adapt to changing conditions while preserving the character of the New Hampshire bar?

Look for more details to come on the morning and afternoon panels.

Included in the low CLE pricing is the Honors & Awards Luncheon and ample opportunities to renew contacts with colleagues and meet new people.

This award is presented to a member of the New Hampshire Bar, or an organization employing eligible members, with at least five years of service in government, military, law enforcement, or public interest law services (including prosecution, public defense, legal advocacy in low-income communities or for individuals with disabilities at a nonprofit organization), or at another nonprofit organization.

Terie Norelli to Speak at Equality Breakfast

Former Speaker of the NH House and current president and CEO of the New Hampshire Womenís Foundation, Terie Norelli will give the keynote address at the GEC Breakfast at Midyear Meeting.

Norelli is a former member of the NH House of Representatives serving the Rockingham 16th District and later 26th District. She has also serviced as NH Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Reunite with Law School Classmates

Remember those days of law school? Wonder what that old law school classmate is up to now? Well, the New Hampshire Bar Associationís Midyear Membership Meeting presents the perfect opportunity to reunite with fellow law school alumni: Law schools are invited to host dinners in conjunction with the meeting.

Bar staff will assist alumni in organizing a dinner by providing contact information of Manchester-area restaurants for making group dinner arrangements, a sample invitation letter and response form, and a set of alumni mailing labels from the Barís member database. The Bar will also publish details of law school dinners in Bar News and on the website.

Anyone interested in coordinating a law school dinner should contact Denice DeStefano at the Bar Center.
