Interim Dean to Head Rudman Center
University of New Hampshire School of Law Interim Dean Jordan Budd has been named executive director of the Warren B. Rudman Center, following his decision to step down from the deanship upon completion of his current term in 2017.
Budd replaces Richard Ashooh, who is finishing a six-month interim appointment as executive director that began last September. Ashooh’s last day will be March 18. Budd will continue to serve as interim dean until an ongoing national search for his successor is complete.
The university also announced the renaming of the center as the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership and Public Service – rather than Justice, Leadership and Public Policy. The law school said the new name “aligns with the center’s mission to honor US Senator Rudman’s legacy of championing work in the public interest and mentoring the next generation of public service leaders.”
