In Memoriam: Donald C. Crandlemire Jr., Concord
Donald C. Crandlemire, 49, died Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Crandlemire, a shareholder/director at Shaheen & Gordon, had been in legal practice since 1993, both as a private practice attorney at Brennan, Caron, Lenehan & Iacopino and Wiggin & Nourie, and as in-house general counsel at Elliot Hospital. Born in Maine, he attended the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now UNH School of Law), where he met his wife, attorney Jennifer Frizzell. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2008 and joined Shaheen & Gordon in 2009.
Crandlemire was known for his never-ending optimism and firm belief there was a solution for every problem. He provided support to many causes, nonprofits and small businesses and will be remembered for his integrity, humor, wit, humility and tenacity.
Crandlemire loved to enjoy the outdoors with his family and relished watching his two sons, Ethan and Evan, play baseball and hockey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Appalachian Mountain Club or New Hampshire Legal Assistance.
A memorial service is scheduled or 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Unitarian Universalist church in Concord.
In memory of our colleague, the NH Bar Association Board of Governors has made a contribution to the NH Bar Foundation.
