Annual Meeting Moves to October
The NH Bar Association Annual Meeting has been rescheduled from June 17 to Friday, Oct. 28, at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel. An NHBA•CLE program, Exit Strategies for Retiring Lawyers, will be held Friday, June 17, in Portsmouth. The program will look at personal considerations in planning for retirement, as well as practical considerations regarding the sale of a law practice.
Be sure to save Oct. 28 for top-notch CLE programming, the presentation of the Annual Meeting professionalism awards, as well as an official welcome to the 2016-2017 NHBA Board of Governors, including Scott Harris, who will be fulfilling the responsibilities of NH Bar president during his term as president-elect. Newly appointed and retired judges will also be recognized. Watch Bar News and e-Bulletin for more information.
The Oct. 28 event also will include an expanded recognition of the honorary members of the Bar – those who in 2016 mark 50 years of the practice of law. Read brief profiles of the 50-year members.
