NHMCLE Compliance Tips: Got Minutes?
Attorneys who have met the the minimum requirement for course minutes to fulfill the NHMCLE rule may be unsure about how to complete the process. Here’s some advice on the last few steps needed.
Go to the “My Record” page at www.nhmcle.org to access the Attorney Reporting Tool (ART). Please note that ART has usernames and passwords that are different from the Bar’s MyNHBAR dashboard.
If an attorney’s ART record shows that the attorney has taken the required number of course minutes, click on the “File Affidavit” button. Follow the Affidavit prompts to submit the 2015-2016 Affidavit of Compliance. Click on the print button to print a final affidavit with the filed date stamp to save a paper copy for office records.
Once the 2015-16 Affidavit of Compliance is filed in ART, the MyNHBAR dashboard button for NHMCLE will turn from red to green after two business days. This is additional confirmation of NHCMLE compliance.
Members who have completed their credit requirements and filed the affidavit of compliance before Aug. 1, 2016, will avoid late fees.
