Second Annual NH Pro Bono Referral Program Benefit Hockey Game

Benefit Hockey Game Returns, Moves to Saint Anselm College

The Second Annual NH Pro Bono Referral Program Benefit Hockey Game is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at 2 p.m., in Sullivan Arena, Saint Anselm College, in Goffstown, NH. Event organizers Rory Parnell and Neil Nicholson invite players of all skill levels to participate in this fun benefit game to support increased access to justice in New Hampshire. All proceeds benefit the NH Bar Association Pro Bono Referral Program.

Event co-organizer Rory Parnell, an associate at Parnell Michels and McKay (left) and Kenneth Burlage, assistant Rockingham County Attorney, were hockey teammates at SNHU from 2003-2006.

Parnell and Nicholson received a 100 percent re-commitment from last year’s team jersey sponsors: Connelly Reporting and Video Conferencing; Upton & Hatfield; Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell; Parnell, Michels & McKay; and McCandless & Nicholson.

The cost is $100 for returning players and $175 for new players who need a jersey. Please respond to Neil Nicholson or Rory Parnell if you are committed to play and then send the donation check made payable to NH Pro Bono Referral Program to Neil Nicholson at 6 Loudon Road, Suite 403 Concord, NH 03301.

Spectator tickets will be sold at the door for just $5 each.

There will be a post-game gathering where players can heap blame on dull edges and bad stick tape, at a location TBD.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Interested businesses should contact Nicholson or Parnell.

Teams Justice and Liberty gathered for a group photo on the ice before the first face off in Manchester. The benefit game will be held in Goffstown this year, at Saint Anselm College.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
