In Memoriam: Joseph L. Lamont, Barnstead
Joseph L. Lamont, 61, of Barnstead died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at his residence.
A native of Troy, New York, Lamont was a true Patriots fan, an avid golfer and loved spending time in Florida.
Lamont was a practicing attorney in Manchester as well as one of the founders of Lamont, Hanley and Associates, Inc. in Manchester, where he served first as president and then as an advisor for 26 years. He had worked in the credit and collection industry for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Rita (LaLiberte) Lamont of Barnstead; son Benjamin Lamont, of Barnstead; daughters Tara Lin Lamont of McHenry, Ill., Melanie Feddersen, of Woodstock, Vt., and Jessica Lamont of Barnstead; a sister; five grandchildren; and other friends and relatives.
The family would like to thank the Barnstead Police Department and Emergency Response Team.
In memory of our colleague, the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors has made a contribution to the NH Bar Foundation.
