Manchester Bar Association officers Richard Joyal, Steven Dutton, Brian Thomas and Joseph Mattson (far right) pose with Superior Court Judge Gillian Abrahmson, recipient of the MBA’s 2017 Distinguished Service Award, and Superior Court Chief Justice Tina Nadeau, who presented the award at the association’s annual dinner April 18 at the Bedford Village Inn.

Upon being sworn in as NH Attorney General, Gordon MacDonald promises to uphold the virtues of the office in representing the interests of New Hampshire citizens, as Gov. Chris Sununu looks on, during the April 13 swearing-in ceremony at the State House.

From left, John MacIntosh, Scott Harris, Jennifer Parent, Jon Ross and Russ Hilliard stopped for a photo in Washington, DC, where they traveled for ABA Day, a time for Bar leaders from across the country to meet with lawmakers about issues of importance to the legal profession and clients. The group shared information about the importance of LSC funding and presented a letter from the NH Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission.

Stephanie Bray of New Hampshire Legal Assistance talks about the work of the Foreclosure Relief Project at the Campaign for Legal Services Kickoff Breakfast in Manchester on May 9. The stuffed tiger was a gift from NHLA to a client who told the story of her struggles with housing at the event.
