In Memoriam: Douglas C. Doskocil, Andover, Massachusetts
Douglas C. Doskocil, of Andover, Massachusetts, died March 4, 2017. He was 55.
Doskocil was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (BS, 1983), Tufts University (MS, 1986), Suffolk University School of Law (JD, 1991) and Vermont Law School (MSEL, 1999). He was a partner at the Goodwin law firm in Boston specializing in intellectual property litigation. Prior to that he spent many years as an engineer for RCA, GE, and Martin Marietta.
Doskocil was very involved in his sonís lives, coaching many of their sports teams over the years and acting as co-president of the Andover Band Association when they were part of the Andover High School Marching Band. An Eagle Scout, Doskocil was the Scoutmaster of Andover Troop 77, mentoring many boys in the process to become an Eagle Scout, including his own sons. He loved life and filled every moment he was given with family, fun, friends, travel and sports.
Doskocil is survived by his wife Cynthia Weeks, sons Samuel Doskocil and Jacob Doskocil, both of Andover, and other friends and relatives.
In memory of our colleague, the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors has made a contribution to the NH Bar Foundation.
