Section Connection: Election Season for NH Bar Association Practice Sections















Itís election season for section officers. About a quarter of the NH Bar Associationís 22 sections have recently elected new or returning leadership. The rest of the sections have elections scheduled later in May and in June. Bar News wishes to congratulate the section officers listed here and will publish the remainder of the section election results in July.

The purpose of NHBA sections is to facilitate professional exchange and professional development in specific practice areas through email list serve discussions, education seminars and informal social gatherings.

Joining a section is easy. Simply check off the appropriate box and include the membership payment. Contact Sections Coordinator Deb Bridges, (603) 715-3257, for more information.

Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section

Evan Mulholland of the NH Department of Environmental Services and Rebecca Walkley of McLane Middleton have been elected co-chairs of the NH Bar Association Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section. Viggo Fish of McLane Middleton was elected vice chair of the section, and Kelsey Peterson of the Merrimack County Superior Court was elected as clerk.

Family Law Section

Petar Leonard of Pastori Krans has been elected chair of the NHBA Family Law Section. Albert Hansen of Bosen & Associates was elected vice chair, and Cassandra Brown of Brown, Bouchard & Randall was elected to serve as section clerk.

Federal Practice Section

Steven Dutton of McLane Middleton was elected chair of the NHBA Federal Practice Section. Mark Knights of Nixon Peabody was elected vice chair of the section, and Henry Quillen of Whatley Kallas and S. Amy Spencer of Shaheen & Gordon were elected co-clerks.

Mental & Physical Disabilities Law Section

Juli Hincks of Butenhof & Bomster was elected to serve as chair of the NHBA Mental & Physical Disabilities Law Section. Lynne Mitchell of New Hampshire Hospital was elected vice chair of the section, and James Ziegra of the Disability Rights Center was elected clerk.
