Morning Mail: Ethics Committee Thank-You
We want to salute two longtime members of the New Hampshire Bar Association Ethics Committee who have recently completed their tenures of service on the commitee: John Norton (30 years) and Richard Uchida (27 years).
John and Richard have worked tirelessly over the years to help members of the NH Bar avoid professional misconduct and, more importantly, to elevate our overall level of professionalism. Whether drafting ethics opinions, writing proposed amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct, or simply answering countless phone calls from lawyers in need of guidance, John and Richard have exemplified the best of what we aspire to be as lawyers.
Each has also devoted significant time outside the Committee to help insure access to justice for lower-income residents of New Hampshire and to the Bar Association to improve the lives of all who cherish the rule of law.
We wish them well in the next chapters of their lives and careers and ask that you join us in honoring these committed and inspirational lawyers.
