Bar News - July 19, 2017

Did You Renew Your License to Practice?

Congratulations to the 4,951 NH Bar Association members (62 percent of total membership) who had already completed their annual attorney licensure renewal obligations as of July 10.

For the members who have not completed the tasks associated with annual attorney licensure renewal, late fees will begin accruing on Tuesday, Aug. 1, with $50 owed for each of the three steps that are delinquent. A second assessment of late fees will accrue in September, and enforcement action will be taken by the NH Supreme Court if obligations have not been completed by Oct. 1. See chart below regarding late fee charges.

NHBA members are encouraged to log in to the MyNHBar portal, and attend to any unmet obligations listed on the compliance portion of the dashboard. There are a number of instructional resources and video tutorials on the website to aid members in completing the steps.

Visit or contact the NHBA renewal staff by email or phone at billing@nhbar.org or (603) 715-3279 during normal business hours for more information or assistance in completing annual renewal obligations.
