Polly Hall

Two new Circuit Court judges were confirmed last month and two more were nominated by New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu.

Attorneys Michael Alfano of Exeter and Polly Hall of Durham were recently nominated to serve on the NH Circuit Court bench. Belknap County Attorney Melissa Guldbrandsen of Alton and David Burns of Concord have been confirmed last month as Circuit Court judges by votes of the NH Executive Council.

In legal practice for 30 years, Alfano was a Portsmouth sole practitioner licensed in both New Hampshire and Maine. His focus was in family law and bankruptcy, according to his firmís website. Alfano is also a certified Guardian ad Litem, court appointed mediator and neutral evaluator. Alfano is a graduate of Boston College Law School and is a member of the NH Bar Association Family Law Section and the Trust and Estate Section.

Also licensed in New Hampshire and Maine, Hall, of Durham, practiced at Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer where she was a member of the firmís domestic relations practice group. Her practice focused on complex divorce cases for high net-worth individuals.

She is certified as a collaborative law attorney and is experienced in the valuation of businesses, professional practices, trust interests and diverse real estate holdings. A graduate of University of Denver College of Law, she is a member of the New Hampshire Board of Psychologists and the NH Bar Association Family Law Section. She is also fluent in Spanish.
