The program aims to identify, inspire and train emerging leaders of the legal profession in New Hampshire. Leadership Academy will be active this year, but it will not be admitting a new group. The program will focus on bringing the first three classes together for networking and integrating the graduates into leadership roles. Also, the Steering Committee of Leadership Academy will be developing plans for the next class, to be admitted in 2014.
Over the past three years, talented applicants have participated in a series of monthly education modules on topics such as the government, media, nonprofit governance, networking and leadership skills, and the future of the legal profession. Each year, the classes have been divided into teams that developed service projects aimed at benefitting the legal profession and the broader community.
