The Bar Scene

Judge Marjorie Rendell of the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, above, gave the keynote address at an Aug. 4 civics workshop for teachers at the federal courthouse in Concord. Organized by US Distirct Court Judge Landya McCafferty, the workshop focused on the impact of the 14th Amendment, both at the time it was ratified and today. Watch a video of Judge Rendellís remarks.

Tom Donnelly, Senior Fellow for Constitutional Studies at the National Consitution Center, above right, talked about the role of John Bingham, a Congressman, lawyer and judge from Ohio, as the principal framer of the 14th Amendment.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
