In Memoriam: David R. DiCicco, Wilmington, MA

David DiCicco

David R. DiCicco, age 62, of Wilmington, formerly of Brockton, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer.

DiCicco was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, where he was raised. He graduated in the top of his class from Brockton High School in 1972. Following high school, DiCicco went on to further his education at the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a bachelorís degree in pre-veterinarian medicine and where he met the love of his life, Carol Jaques. He returned to the Boston area and attended Suffolk University Law School, earning his law degree in 1982.

DiCicco worked as an attorney for the Home Insurance Company before forming his own partnership, which lasted 20 years. Two years ago, DiCicco opened his own firm. He continued to show a strong work ethic throughout his illness and always catered to his clients. DiCicco and his wife moved to Wilmington in 1988, married in 1991, and had two daughters, Dawn and Kelly. In his spare time, DiCicco enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, watching the Patriots, and golfing. He also coached a number of soccer and softball teams in Wilmington.

DiCicco will be remembered as a kind and generous man who loved his family and friends with all his heart. He is survived by his immediate family, as well as many other friends and relatives.

In memory of our colleague, the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors has made a contribution to the NH Bar Foundation.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
