The NHBA Pro Bono Referral Program wishes to send a huge THANK YOU to all the dedicated golfers who participated in the 23rd annual Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament at Lake Sunapee Country Club last Thursday, Aug. 11.
Despite the heat, it was a great day. The Justice William F. Batchelder & Judge Arthur E. Bean Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament Trophy will have a new home this year as the team of Paul Kfoury, Randall Smith, Walter Smith and David Ordway edged out last year’s champions by one point. Second place went to Mike Ruedig, Mark Douglas, Douglas Homan and Bob Williams, while Judge Arthur Bean’s team, including Rodney Stark, Mica Stark and Bob Mielcarz, came in third.
The mixed-team first place went to Mitchell Jean, Gerard O’Neil, Deborah Kane Rein and Hon. Michael Garner with second place going to Mark Dunn, Stephen Lindo, Sigrid Lindo and Connor Theroux.
The longest drive contest sponsored by Hinckley Allen Snyder was won by Jan Denson for the women and Rory Parnell for the men. The closest-to-the-pin contest sponsored by Brayman, Houle, Keating & Albright was won by Pam Gould for the women and Paul Kfoury for the men.
Mainstay Technologies sponsored the Hole-in- One contest, but, unfortunately, no one drove away in the first prize Miata Convertible provided by Grappone Automotive Group. See the September Bar News for a full list of sponsors.
