The New Hampshire Bar Association’s We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution
Congressional Hearing dates have been set. The district level hearings will be held on December 7 (snow date: December 10) , from 9 a.m. to noon.

The state finals will be held on January 11 (snow date: January 14), with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.  Volunteer for both session and lunch is provided. Congressional Hearings are held at the Legislative Office Building in Concord.

The WTP program is an instructional program with the goal of promoting civic responsibility and competence in students. Teachers and students work together learning the history and principles of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The culmination of their learning is the simulated Congressional Hearing (the competition). If you are interested in volunteering your time to be a judge or a timer, please fill out the form below.

If you have not participated before and would like more information on this or other LRE volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact Robin E. Knippers, 603-715-3259.

Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis for judge assignments – and then assignments for timers will be made in order to have back-up judges in case of cancellations. Willingness to serve as a timer is appreciated.
