Mission:
This ad hoc committee explores innovative solutions to support public sector and public interest attorneys, addresses the unique challenges they face, and encourages more attorneys to choose careers in these arenas, in order to provide immediate and meaningful support to those working in these positions, and to help ensure that the next generation of attorneys is inspired and equipped to contribute to this important area of the law. These lawyers, who serve as the backbone of our justice system, often work in underfunded and high-pressure environments, yet their work touches the lives of countless individuals and communities, safeguarding rights, promoting fairness, and ensuring justice is accessible to all.
