Join the New Hampshire Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) team as an Intake and Referral Specialist and help connect callers seeking legal help with the right attorney or other resource.

  • Paralegal training/education and/or experience required.
  • Must possess superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and critical thinking/ decision-making abilities a must.
  • Meticulous attention to detail essential.
  • Prior database use and data entry required in addition to basic skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

NH Pro Bono Referral Program – Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant sought for Pro Bono Referral Program at the NH Bar Center. The position
offers the opportunity to use great organizational, exceptional communication (written and oral) and
stellar computer/technology skills as part of a dynamic team providing access to justice for those in
need.

Duties include:

  • assisting the Director with diverse tasks including correspondence, events and meetings,
  • assisting with grant applications/reports,
  • scheduling and managing program-wide calendar;
  •  overseeing a wide variety of additional administrative tasks
  • PLUS responding to inquiries from clients, attorneys and the public;
  • case/client/attorney electronic record keeping
  • supporting other staff members with limited secretarial tasks.

Qualifications saught:

  • experience in a nonprofit work environment helpful;
  • knowledge of legal system a plus;
  • sensitivity to poverty issues essential.
  • Spanish-speaking ability helpful.
  • Must have familiarity with databases and
    proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
